Hi, I'm Gunny! I was found eating out of a dumpster in Middletown and was also very injured. Someone had shot me and I still had the bullet inside of my body. Catales rescued me and got me all of the medical care I needed. I am FIV+ and sometime I get ulcers in my mouth. Humans cannot catch FIV from me and it is very difficult for other cats to catch. I am still very weary of strangers, as you can understand from my horrible past so I need a very patient, loving, and understanding person to adopt me. I would like a quiet home. I get along with other cats but dogs and children would scare me. If I do not know you I will not let you pet me and I get scared. I need a home where someone will be patient with me while I get to know them. Once I know you I love to be pet and love attention. I know it may take a while to find a forever home, but I am not giving up hope. Maybe there is a special someone out there who will find room in their heart and home for me.
