American Staffordshire Terrier - Sly - Medium - Adult - Male
This is Sly! He came to us as a terrified dog that was afraid to even be touched. It took him a little bit, but he finally realized that we can be trusted and that no one is going to hurt him anymore. Sly has really come out of his shell and now happily accepts pets and scratches and his tail is always wagging! He has even learned how to sit for a cookie. We believe that he has a good heart but a bad back story. Sly needs an understanding owner that can provide him lots of love and positive training. Sly LOVES other dogs and would do well with doggie companions. He wants his shelter mate Ginger to be his girlfriend. He loves her so much, he sometimes jumps over the fence visit her. Sly recently had a vacation at John Gagnon's Pet Resort and the staff fell in love with him! They dubbed him a love bug! He played in doggie daycare and had a great time there.
